Typewritten transcripts of 3 cassette tapes. Albert Winkler interviewed Renstrom on 4, 7, and 15 Oct. 1999. Renstrom tells about serving with the garrison forces on Iceland prior to World War II and about fighting with the 4th Marine Division on Kwajalein, Saipan, Tinian, and Iwo Jima. He also talks about his changing feelings towards the Japanese people.
